ALP_TRG116 -Classroom course - 1-day
A one-day course for Roughing and Finishing 3D Solid Models directly. Creation of materials and the application of a dedicated 3D Roughing cycle. A comprehensive look at the 3D Finish Machining strategies and their specific roles in the manufacturing process is the main section of the course. Dedicated sample files are worked on and discussed so that the trainee gains a practical as well as a theoretical insight into all of the finishing strategies. Training is usually held at Hexagon office and includes documentation, light lunch and refreshments but does not include overnight accommodation. 

     - Introduction
     - 3D Z Contour Roughing - how it works and the options, Save Stock as STL File and Load Stock from STL File
     - 3D Machining Strategies - explained and applying Machining Strategies to Solid Models
     - 3D Machining assimilation - using examples models or Students own models. where time allows

Training Course Conclusion  
The tutor will answer any questions arising from the online test. Issue of certificates.
Trainees will be required to complete the online training course evaluation to provide feedback which will allow ALPHACAM Training to enhance future learners experience.
The training course content is subject to variation due to the differing learning abilities and the prerequisite knowledge of the attendees on each course.

AC_ETRG_107  - Virtual classroom course - 2-hours
In this 2-hour course you will be lead through an introduction into the world of surface/face machining.  The instructor will show you various machine strategies that will allow you to create complex, 3D surfaces that are applicable in a wide range of industries.  The instructor assumes that all students have a firm understanding of the basic machine strategies and functionality of the software taught in the core training course.

- Instructor lead machining tutorials for 3D surfaces and faces
- Machining a polyline
