A one-day course introducing the methods of geometry creation in ALPHACAM. Introduction to the basic options to set up ALPHACAM to suit the customer. Use of creation commands Line, Rectangle and various Circle options to generate basic shapes. Use of Editing commands, Break, Trim Join, Unite etc to manipulate these shapes into more complex forms. The use of function commands Copy, Rotate, Mirror etc to create more complex designs. Training is usually held at a Hexagon office and includes documentation, light lunch and refreshments but does not include overnight accommodation.

Tutored Geometry Creation Example
XY Geometry Creation. The concepts of creating 2D Geometry, and the application of assigning Z Levels to create Wire Frame geometry.
Geometry Creation Exercises
Working through examples with help from tutor as required.
There are sets of example drawings relevant for each module type.
Training Course Conclusion
The tutor will answer any questions arising from the online test. Issue of certificates. Trainees will be required to complete the online training course evaluation to provide feedback which will allow ALPHACAM training to enhance learners experience.
The training course content is subject to variation due to the differing learning abilities and the prerequisite knowledge of the attendees on each course.

On the rare occasion when we may need to cancel or reschedule the training course, we will aim to give all delegates a minimum of 2 working days' notice. Delegates will, wherever possible, be given priority on the next available course.
