Introduction to EDGECAM Workflow interface for solid part, stock, fixture & machine setup. Automatic feature recognition of prismatic CAD features to apply face mill, roughing, profiling & hole cycles. Verification of toolpath simulation and NC Code generation.


Essential Milling incorporating Solid Loaders.


This course is for beginners to EDGECAM for either Wireframe or Solid users.

Pre- Requisite Getting Started (This is emailed once the course is booked) and Essential Wireframe Design for Wireframe users. (This may be beneficial also for Solids Users).

   - Feature Recognition
   - Stock Creation
   - 3 Levels of Manufacturing inside Workflow Automatic, Semi-Automatic, Manual
   - Geometry extraction & Containment Boundaries
   - Machining A Solid, Solid Features & Wireframe
   - Roughing, Profiling, & Chamfer Cycles
   - Face Milling & Hole Operations
   - Simulator
   - Associative reloading of solids.
   - Model to toolpath associativity
   - Solid Model Creation Inside EDGECAM (EWS)
   - Workshops

NOTE:  This course is taught Day 1 of the 2-Day Standard Milling Course and the 4-Day Standard Production Training Course.
