VISI - Progressive Die Design

Description

Progress Die Design

VISI Progress is a software application specialized in progressive die design and manufacturing within the field of Computer Aided Design (CAD). It is primarily utilized in industries that involve sheet metal forming, stamping, pressing, and other similar processes. Its rich set of features and functionalities use meticulous calculations to enhance the efficiency of the progressive die design workflow, fine-tune die performance, and play a pivotal role in promoting cost-effective and streamlined production processes across industries reliant on metal forming manufacturing techniques, which include automotive, aerospace, appliance manufacturing, and more.

Learning Objectives

Expect to gain understanding of Progressive Die Design concepts, the principles and best practices involved in progressive die design, including the various stages and components of a progressive die. Become proficient in navigating the VISI Progress module software interface, accessing its tools, menus, and commands, and effectively using the software for die design tasks. Develop the skills needed to create efficient and effective progressive die designs, optimizing factors such as material utilization, cycle time, and part quality. Learn how to utilize VISI Progress's simulation capabilities to visualize and validate progressive die designs, identifying and addressing potential issues before production.
