This 2-day training course introduces Standard DESIGNER for those users who want to learn the principles of 3D direct modelling, creating parts for manufacture along with the associated engineering drawing.
This instructor-led course details the best practice use of the features and functions backed by relative industry work examples.
Day 1
- The DESIGNER Interface
- Viewing the model
- What is direct modelling
- Solid modelling
- Wireframe – creating 2D geometry
Day 2
- The 2D drawing manager – creating and annotating 2D engineering drawings
- The Workplane manager
- 2D to 3D - creating 3D models from 2D drawings
- Standard sheet metal functionality (Note for users who have access to the sheet metal module and who require full sheet metal design and unfolding, there is a further DESIGNER sheet metal course)
- Creating multi-bodied solids

Any changes to a delegate's confirmed booking of a training course, made within 2 weeks of the course start date, may incur additional charges.
On the rare occasion when we may need to cancel or reschedule the training course, we will aim to give all delegates a minimum of 2 working days' notice. Delegates will, wherever possible, be given priority on the next available course.
