This course is for installers and administrators of SimManager. Participants will learn the basic architecture and supported hardware environments. They will prepare for and install SimManager and test the installation. Studio will be used to administer and maintain the SimManager system.
They will learn how to create, delete, and migrate SimManager databases. Learners will be able to add, remove, move, and back-up data vaults. They will understand how to implement different user authentication mechanisms and to set up job queueing systems in SimManager. They will become aware of the different file movement configurations. Maintenance tasks are also discussed, such as: monitoring a running system, load balancing, high-availability set-up, and database tuning for performance.
