In this course the basics of LPBF simulation are discussed. The course starts with background information about laser powder fusion,
the basic functions and features available in Simufact additive, case studies and a quick discussion about more advanced features. Then, a demo model is done step by step
in the software, containing all the steps required for a real analysis, beginning with geometry import and positioning, support generation, material selection, build and
post-build setup, a discussion about the theory behind the simulation, numerical parameters, running, and post processing of the results.
