Overview

In this course the basics of Metal Binder Jetting (MBJ) sintering simulation are discussed. The course starts with a basic description of the MBJ process, the initial steps with creating a new project, additional learning resources and basic GUI manipulation. Parts are imported and positioned, and the sintering cycle is defined. A brief discussion is done about the material properties needed for sintering, and how these are important for the simulation. Also it is shown how to use the distortion optimization capability and it's results are shown afterwards. Results are reviwed and some best practices are discussed, and finally experimental results are shown for the optimized parts.
