Rating :

Overview

Version - 2024.1

scFLOW is a general purpose CFD software with outstanding ease-of-use and computational speed. It contains feature-rich capabilities that are strongly suited to flow and thermal analysis, moving objects analysis, and multiphase applications. It includes advanced functions that are specifically targeted towards different engineering fields such as the automotive, aerospace, and machinery industries.
This class is an introduction to the basics of scFLOW. It covers all the main workflow steps involved in performing a CFD analysis using scFLOW.

Objectives:

Understand the workflow of setting up a simulation within scFLOW

Learn about importing a CAD geometry and creating the Domain for flow simulation

Understand the Build Analysis Model step and the Part Tree hierarchy

Learn why it's important to register Surface regions

Understand the Analysis Conditions wizard and some of its commonly used options

Create relevant boundary conditions and specify outputs for the simulation results

Understand the octree and the meshing parameters

Execute the simulation and learn how to interpret the curves displayed in the solver

Learn about the post-processor's basic usage and organization

Create post-processing objects to visualize the solution
