Version - 2024.1
Adams/Car is the industry-standard simulation tool in the automotive industry for kinematic (suspension) and dynamic (ride/handling, durability, NVH, etc) simulation. This class is an overview of Adams/Car that introduces the basics of modeling and simulation of an example FSAE vehicle.
Objectives:
- Learn about user modes and Adams Car data hierarchy
- Understand the Adams Car database structure
- Learning the concept of subsystems and assemblies
- Modification of suspension and full vehicle models
- Setup of simulations
- To create and modify templates
- Use of different property files
Pre-requisites:
None
Topics:
- Basic Adams Car concepts
- Adjusting and simulating full-vehicle assemblies
