Q-DAS Tools Launcher

The Q-DAS Tools Launcher is a central launch platform for the administrative Q-DAS applications. It is only available for server and local provisioning.

The tiles will be shown in red if an application is missing or the storage location is unavailable.

There is a context menu available for each tile.

Change Directory
In case an application is unavailable or a test version is required, this option provides a dialogue box for modifying the path to the required application.
Close after execute
This option controls whether the Tools Launcher closes after launching a product.
Support E-Mail
To enable the Q-DAS Hotline to analyse and resolve issues more quickly, this option allows the user to create a ZIP file containing the most important system information.

Q-DAS License

License Viewer

Database Update

Static DB

Database Connect (FD Connection Tool)

Database compress
Although the default delivery includes Microsoft Access databases, these are intended to provide the necessary structure and content for updating older databases.
It is recommended to use SQL databases instead.

Despite the fact that the default delivery comes with Microsoft Access databases, this tool is outdated. It was designed to compress a Microsoft Access database. This is not comparable with the Microsoft Access tool "Compact and Repair Database".

Terminal
In an emergency, the "Terminal" tool can be used to log and read out the communication between the PC and the connected measuring device via RS232. There is no description for this, this tool is operated by the application engineers present.

From version 2024.1 (15), the Terminal tool is no longer included in the installation package. In case it is required, please contact the Q-DAS hotline.
