Evaluation

	Evaluation Strategy The core of a validated evaluation is known as the evaluation strategy. In the evaluation strategy, the statistical calculations and specifications can be defined on a client-specific basis, or the already established company standards and guidelines can be used. This ensures that the results can be compared and reproduced across the organisation and between sites. In addition to the Q-DAS evaluation strategies, which are different for each module, the Q-DAS application also includes company-specific evaluation strategies. 	Evaluate Standard Procedure Once the data has been modified, press the "Execute evaluation" button to perform the default calculation. The default calculation is performed automatically when a dataset is opened.
	Evaluation Depending on the evaluation strategy and any selections and outlier considerations, different sub-variants of the evaluation can be carried out in the Sample Analysis and Process Capability Analysis modules.
	Distributions Only experienced users should use manual distribution. The dialogue box that appears shows the possible distributions. In addition to the offset selection, the regression coefficients and the CHI² value are displayed. The user can select a different distribution based on the statistical data.
		Note The manual selection of a distribution is only temporary. Once the dataset has been evaluated or reopened, the distribution determined by the strategy will be selected again.
		Note Selecting a different distribution form is logged in the reports, thus indicating to the recipient of the reports that the evaluation did not follow the rules of the selected strategy mentioned on the reports.
		Important The recipient of the reports needs to agree to the manual selection of distributions that do not fit. Otherwise, this could be seen as an attempt to "gloss over" the reports.
