Global Colour Settings With the implementation of styles, which allow centralised configuration of graphics, this option has become obsolete. In previous versions, the global colour settings were used to define a sort of preset, which could then be applied to individual graphics via the graphics settings dialog. No settings should be made here. Use the styles for easier and more transparent handling of graphics. |

Documentation Allocation Settings These settings are used to configure the general settings for assigning documents, graphics and screenshots during data recording or upload. The conditions and range of functions depend on the Q-DAS product/module used. Link to: Add photos to measured values (procella) Link to: Document Allocation (Q-DM) |

| Division Allocation To quickly provide an overview of production and process data, the measured values can be summarised into calculated results. This dialogue box is used to configure the division allocation, i.e. the specification according to which the measured values are summarised. E-mail Configuration The system information required to send e-mails using the Q-DAS applications can be defined here. The information that can be sent by e-mail depends on the Q-DAS product/module used. For better understanding, configuration and handling are described within the topic of the relevant product/module. Link to: Send alarm notifications via e-mail |

File Storage The options in this dialogue are used to define the general storage when new datasets are created. Basically, new data sets can be stored either in the database or in files. If saving to files is preferred, the default destination path, the K-fields to create a filename and the file format can also be specified. |
|
| External Files The general configuration for calling up Q-DAS and Windows scripts is defined here. For example, the Q-DAS scripts can be executed via button bars, application bars or according to the measurement sequence. However, not every Q-DAS script command works in every module. For a better understanding, the configuration and handling of Q-DAS and Windows scripts are described within the topic of the relevant product/module. The Q-DAS scripts allow the automated execution of a sequence of commands. The Q-DAS scripts can be executed from the button bars, the application bars or according to the measurement sequence. Save Options Use this dialogue to specify which additional information (attribute, catalogue, calculated distribution, etc.) should be saved with the dataset. |
|
| Recording data / Standard The options in this dialogue are used to organise the flow of the measurement situation. They define the behaviour of the Q-DAS application and the interactions required from the operator. Although available for all products, the dialogue is described in detail for procella, the module with the most available options. Link to: procella - Configuration of Setup Data Recording |
||
| Upload Configuration With an available Q-DM licence, this is used to start an upload and to configure the central upload on the server. It is important to consider the different paths that need to be specified so that the central upload can use them. The Q-DM configuration should be set up in a workshop with the key users. The general configuration of the upload is described in a separate topic. Link to: Q-DM (Upload) |

Available Languages To facilitate and improve international communication between our customers working on global projects, and to make our software more accessible to a wider audience, all languages are available free of charge from version 14.0.2.x. This dialogue is used to specify the appearance of the available languages in the Q-DAS applications. A separate topic describes the available languages and general operation.
