VISI - CAM Foundation

VS-TRAIN02: 

VISI CAM foundation covering all aspects of 2D and 3D machining procedures to a basic level including, 3D roughing and finishing strategies, 2D profiling, pocketing, milling and drilling.

NOTE:  THIS COURSE HAS PRE-REQUISITES FOR VIRTUAL CLASSROOMS - PRE-REQUISITES DETAILS  

This course is intended for beginners or new users of VISI Machining. The course will introduce 2D and 3D machining strategies to the participants. The course content includes:

- CAM navigator explanation
- Creating/Editing Tools and using toolholders
- Creating Manual and Complex Features
- Feature recognition
- Piece/Stock/Obstacle definition
- 2D Toolpaths – Pocketing, Milling, Face milling, Chamfering, Drilling operations and cycles
- Running Path Lab simulation
- 3D Toolpaths – Roughing, Rest Roughing and Finishing operations
- Toolpath editing
- Kinematic simulation

Hexagon Production Software reserve the right to refuse admission to attendees arriving later than the designated start time and for non-payment of the invoice prior to attending.

All services, incorporating, not exclusively, Customer Training and Consultancy, are sold on a non-refundable, non-transferable basis with an expiration date no later than 12 months from the purchase order receipt date. 

Any changes to a delegate’s confirmed booking of a training course, made within 2 weeks of the course start date, may incur additional charges.

On the rare occasion when we may need to cancel or reschedule the training course, we will aim to give all delegates a minimum of 2 working days' notice. Delegates will, wherever possible, be given priority on the next available course.
